Fat Daddy Sweets

I've been cooking and baking since I was about 9 and my mom and grandma started teaching me. I was instantly hooked! To me, baking is cathartic. Something about the creation of something that will nourish your body and soul when it's completed can help solve any problem I'm dealing with. And it helps that I have an insatiable sweet tooth! And nothing soothes your soul like chocolate!

Friends have told me for years that I needed to go into business with my baking, and finally, I listened. 

Fat Daddy Sweets opened on Etsy on December 4, 2008, and now has expanded to this website!

Fat Daddy's Sweets got its name from my dear husband, who, thanks to my cooking and baking has become a "fat daddy"!

I'm also Mommy to our son who is 4 going on 13, and his baby sister who is 2.

Fat Daddy Sweets confections are created in a licensed commercial kitchen, and Fat Daddy Sweets holds Food Protection Manager Certification and State of Oklahoma Food Manufacturing License.

The spread at the OKC Chocolate Tweetup we held July 21st at Cafe Evoke in the Plaza District.
